Are you in the affair zone?
Many stories in the media focus on men who have affairs but it won't come as a surprise that women are just as prone to being in the 'affair zone'. Find out what might make you stray.
No one is unfaithful by mistake there's always a reason. Anything from lack of intimacy to a job that takes you away from home could spark an affair.
Does he listen to you?
If your partner rarely listens to a word you say, you may feel neglected. If he shows a genuine interest and gives you his attention, you will feel instantly attractive.
It's not important for him to come up with a solution, only that he makes space for you. You don't want to feel as though you have to blurt everything out before you lose his attention.
Do you lack intimacy?
Do you take your relationship for granted so much that you don't bother with kisses and cuddles? Do you still hold hands? Many women who have affairs report that they are missing companionship and intimacy.
Is your sex life predictable?
Women with partners who are unimaginative or selfish in the bedroom are likely to look elsewhere for excitement. If you have time to notice the cracks in the ceiling, it's a sure sign that something is wrong.
If your sex life is stuck in a rut, break your sexual fatigue. Throw out all preconceptions, banish bad bedroom habits and learn how to make love again.
Do you travel frequently for work?
In her book Love Life, author and counsellor Janet Reibstein says: "In my research women who travel for their jobs have more one-night stands and flings..."
Women who work away from home often have more opportunities for distraction than those based in offices, and are less likely to get found out.
Does he hold down a job?
Success is sexy and women are deeply attracted to it they can smell it a mile away. When a woman is forced to become the sole breadwinner, it puts a huge amount of stress on the relationship.
She may begin to resent her partner, and even find him less attractive. She may also feel vulnerable when she is with a man who is a drain on her resources.
Are you ovulating?
Researchers Jon and Tiffany Gottschal from St Lawrence University in New York believe that women feel more attractive and sexy when ovulating.
If you're out for a drink with a male colleague or friend, you are much more likely to respond to their attentions if they make a move at this time in your reproductive cycle.
